I recommend this place. The inside is bit rustic and nothing special but they regain points with the menu. There's a good choice of mushrooms and not dishes. Prices are good, although I'm quite sure the mushrooms are frozen. But it's fair enough, It's impossible to keep fresh mushrooms for days.
The portions, particularly on the first dishes, are very abundant and the taste is actually impressive. I wasn't impressed by the dessert choice and taste, but it's fine and at least there are no mushroom there😅
Super
We started with a vast array of appetizers, truly varied and excellent, all based on mushrooms obviously. A note of merit for the polenta with mushrooms and the mushroom and chestnut soup, delicious! We continued with a pappardella with mushrooms and a sliced steak to share! Everything really excellent and moderately priced. Advised!
Super
Truly all excellent, very good chickpea and porcini soup, not to mention the ravioli with Montoro onion and porcini mushrooms! We will definitely be back to try the other specialties!
Nice place and the food was very good. Very rich and varied starter. Highly recommended
A welcoming restaurant, which immediately envelops you in its family atmosphere, thanks also to the warm welcome of the girl who takes care of the room (Manuela), always very kind and smiling! A menu full of goodness, where you are truly spoiled for choice... But thanks to the advice of Manuela (who, in addition to being very polite, also demonstrated competence regarding the products and preparations), we managed to taste, being the first time, a bit of everything and in the best way: mixed bruschetta with fresh vegetables, very tasty porcini mushrooms, truffle, artisanal mushroom cream (an incredible delicacy in its simplicity). Soup with Montoro onion and porcini mushrooms, served in a very delicious way, in a hot bowl and accompanied by small and tasty croutons...a pleasure! The first courses, Oscar-worthy, both the homemade pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and the fusilli recommended by the girl, with porcini mushrooms, speck, walnuts and provola... Exceptional, mouth-watering! Last but not least, the grilled porcini mushrooms, with a seasoning based on garlic, oil and parsley: a real icing on the cake, a unique flavour, in which you can fully feel the taste of the porcini mushroom! Wherever you have tasted porcini mushrooms before coming here, know that it will be in this place that you will discover their true flavour! Prices more than honest, product quality more than excellent... We will definitely be back! Congratulations for everything!
I went with pleasure to Fungo Poilenoso, recommended to me by a person who knew my passion for porcini mushrooms, I must say that I was very happy with both the welcome and the good food, made with care and love.
I can't say the same for the room, which wasn't clear whether I was in an office with all those white neon lights or in a bedroom with Venetian-style walls spatulated with traces of gold.
I hope you understand me, escaping the city and taking internal and even mountain roads, you expect a rustic or shalby place with warm lights and NO NEON from the office and wartime flooring, if at least it had been a terracotta floor.
Given 4 and not 5 stars because the location must also be considered in the ratings
